How is the yarn count calculated?

Classification:

Textile commonly used formula is divided into fixed-length formula and fixed-weight system formula two kinds.

  1, fixed-length system formula:

  (1), Danier (D): D = g / L * 9000 which g for the weight of the thread (g), L for the length of the thread (meters)

(2), tex (number) [tex (H)]: tex = g / L * 1000 which g for the weight of yarn (or silk) (g), L for the length of yarn (or silk) (meters)

(3), dtex (dtex): dtex = g / L * 100 where g is the weight of the thread (g), L is the length of the thread (meters)

  Fixed weight system formula.

(1), metric count (N): N = L / G where G is the weight of yarn (or silk) (g), L is the length of yarn (or silk) (meters)

(2), imperial count (S): S = L / (G * 840) which G is the weight of the thread (pounds), L is the length of the thread (yards)

  2, select the conversion formula:

  (1), the metric number of branches (N) and Denier (D) conversion formula: D = 9000 / N

  (2), the British branch (S) and Daniell (D) conversion formula: D = 5315 / S

  (3), sub-Tex (dtex) and tex (tex) conversion formula: 1 tex = 10dtex

  (4), Tex (tex) and Daniel (D) conversion formula: tex = D / 9

  (5), Tex (tex) and imperial count (S) of the conversion formula: tex = K / SK value: cotton yarn K = 583.1 pure chemical fiber K = 590.5 polyester-cotton yarn K = 587.6 cotton and viscose yarn (75:25) K = 584.8 Viscose cotton yarn (50:50) K = 587.0

  (6), tex (tex) and metric number (N) conversion formula: tex = 1000 / N

  (7), sub-Tex (dtex) and Denier (D) conversion formula: dtex = 10D / 9

  (8), sub-Tex (dtex) and imperial count (S) of the conversion formula: dtex = 10K/SK value: cotton yarn K = 583.1 pure chemical fiber K = 590.5 polyester-cotton yarn K = 587.6 cotton viscose yarn (75:25) K = 584.8 Viscose cotton yarn (50:50) K = 587.0

  (9), sub-Tex (dtex) and metric count (N) of the conversion formula: dtex = 10000 / N

(10), the metric system centimeters (cm) and British inches (inch) conversion formula: 1inch = 2.54cm

(11), metric meters (M) and the British system code (yd) conversion formula: 1 yard = 0.9144 meters

  (12), satin square meter weight (g/m2) and m rice (m/m) conversion formula: 1m/m = 4.3056g/m2

  (13), the actual weight of satin and pound weight conversion formula: pound weight (lb) = per meter of silk weight (g / m) * 0.9144 (m / yd) * 50 (yd) / 453.6 (g / yd)

  Add one more point

  1.unit

  (1. Fixed-length system:

  A. Tex: The mass grams of 1000 meters length of yarn at a nominal rate of return is called tex.

  Formula: Ntex = (G / L) × 1000

Where: G is the weight of the yarn (grams), L is the length of the yarn (meters) [2]

  B. Denier: 9000 meters of silk in the public fixed rate of return when the mass of grams is called denier.

  Formula: Nden = (G / L) × 9000

Where: G is the weight of the silk (grams), L is the length of the silk (meters)

  (2), fixed weight system:

  A. The number of male branch (male branch): 1 gram of yarn (silk) has a length in meters.

  Formula: Nm = L / G

Where: 1 for the length of yarn (silk) (meters), G for the weight of yarn (silk) (grams)

  B. British count (British): 1 pound of yarn has the number of 840 yards of length.

  Formula: Ne = (L / G) × 840

Where: L is the length of yarn (silk) (yards), G is the weight of yarn (silk) (pounds).

  2、Unit conversion

  A. Special number Ntex and imperial count Ne

Ne = C / Ntex (C is a constant, chemical fiber for 590.5, cotton fiber for 583, if the blended yarn can be calculated according to the mixing ratio, such as: T/JC (65/35) 45S yarn C =
